As summer approaches, so does the traffic for the markets. We expect the markets will be haven for new born babies, tourists and domestic travelers heading to the beach.
Last Sat at Manly was a little quiet, all stall holders reported a quiet day; the overcast weather didn't help, but then i guess you can't get all sunny days....ahhhh....
Although the day was quiet, it wasn't un eventful, i watched a couple of rangers patrol a stall commenting on bags and bottles of water on the ground, and that it may be a hazard to a passerby??? hmmm, perhaps they think the water is going to leap out and burn them or the bags of clothes will suddnely devour them as they walk past...weirdo rangers!
I also managed to tear a hole in my 6 mth shorts; which prompted a new pair of shorts to be bought. At ($80) i was not impressed, to top the day off it was windy and a little cold so i bought a cheap $10 AUSTRALIA cardy from some dodgy shop...and well the arms were short ! i was warm and that was the main thing.
Heres me in my "gumbo" $10 top-

Check out Kel's response when i told her about my dire problem with my shorts...and the fail top....

Kel, in her wisdon did mange to sello-tape my ass so i could at least protect the children's from my ass falling out and allow me to purchase expensive shorts that i really didn't need...( i should of bought a towel).
Back to reality, Kel is looking to be at a couple of big markets- the Glebe street fair and the Narrabeen markets in December- so keep your eye balls peeled for the market dates and we will let you all know when we are in the market.
see you soon
